The Mojave Wasteland is a major region and the main setting
of Fallout: New Vegas.

Featured in Fallout New Vegas as the primary setting, the Mojave Wasteland is a beautiful, yet unforgiving expanse of land comprising mostly of Nevada and parts of surrounding states. It's sweltering weather is due in large part to it's location; the desert. Luckily for the residents of pre-war New Vegas, only a few of the nuclear warheads penetrated a missile shield developed by Robert House, so radiation pockets are sparse. It's wildlife is extremely diverse, ranging from deadly cazadors to the gentle bighorner. Major population centers are extremely frequent, and villages are even more common.
